Wij organiseren de eerste Oostende Art Book Fair.
Deze Art Book Fair bestaat uit twee delen: de MARKET en de PERFORMANCES.

De MARKET (11h – 00h) biedt een uitgebreid programma met grafische vormgevers, beeldende kunstenaars, kunstcollectieven en andere makers die hun eigen edities en publicaties presenteren. De focus ligt op artist books, zines, textiel, multiples en dergelijke. De volledige lijst van deelnemers wordt later aangekondigd.

Het PERFORMANCE gedeelte (18h – 00h), geïnspireerd door SEA SEX AND SUN, wordt ’s avonds verweven in de fair. Sculpturen en objecten die zich overdag in de ruimte bevinden, worden ’s avonds geactiveerd.
Het programma wordt onder andere samengesteld door kunstenaars met wie we eerder samenwerkten en die opnieuw onze ruimte tot leven komen wekken. Als eerste teaser kunnen we alvast returning guest star Niels Poiz en fabulous queen Flore Levrouw aankondigen. Het volledige programma wordt later bekendgemaakt via Instagram. Dit onderdeel wordt specifiek georganiseerd in het kader van Nightshift, voorheen de Nacht van de Musea en Galerijen.

We kijken ernaar uit om samen een bruisende, zoute en zonnige editie neer te zetten.

We are organizing the first Oostende Art Book Fair.
This Art Book Fair consists of two parts: the MARKET and the PERFORMANCES.

The MARKET (11h – 00h) presents an extensive program featuring graphic designers, visual artists, art collectives, and other makers who showcase their own editions and publications.
The focus lies on artist books, zines, textiles, multiples, and other related forms. The full list of participants will be announced at a later stage.

The PERFORMANCE program (18h – 00h), inspired by SEA SEX AND SUN, will be interwoven into the fair during the evening. Sculptures and objects that inhabit the space throughout the day will be activated at night. The program will include artists we have previously collaborated with, who will once again bring our space to life. As a first teaser, we are excited to announce returning guest star Niels Poiz and fabulous queen Flore Levrouw. The full program will be revealed later via Instagram. This part of the event is specifically organized within the framework of Nightshift, formerly known as the Night of Museums and Galleries.
