Pearls & Roger

We willen jullie allemaal welkom heten op onze book launch en groepstentoonstelling Pearls & Roger waar je de catalogus van dit jaar zal kunnen bemachtigen.
Deze catalogus / artist book is niet enkel een herinnering van dit volledige jaar maar ook vormgegeven door twee prachtige grafische kunstenaars Seppe-Hazel Laeremans en Joram De Cocker. Om deze tentoonstelling en de catalogus vorm te geven werd een masterclass vooraf georganiseerd door hen. Vertrekkend vanuit hun theorieën rond Blossoming en Withering. De beelden, bewegingen en gesprekken die ontstonden tijdens dit moment zijn door Joram en Seppe-Hazel omgezet in een beeldtaal die tegelijkertijd zal worden gebruikt voor de vormgeving en scenografie van de poster, catalogus en de groepstentoonstelling.

Ook de residenten zullen samen nog een laatste keer deze theorie toepassen op bestaande werken en herbekeken ‘failures’.

We would like to welcome you all to our book launch and group exhibition Pearls & Roger, where you will be able to obtain this year’s catalog. This catalog/artist Book is not only a memento of this entire year but also designed by two wonderful graphic artists, Seppe-Hazel Laeremans and Joram De Cocker. To shape this exhibition and catalog, a masterclass was organized by them. Drawing from their theories on Blossoming and Withering, the images, movements, and conversations that arose during this moment were transformed by Joram and Seppe-Hazel into a visual language that will be used for the design and scenography of the poster, catalog, and group exhibition.

The residents will also apply this theory one last time to existing works and re-examined ‘failures’.

Reserveren kan, maar is niet nodig. We zijn niet gesubsidieerd, dus werken we met een 'pay what you can'-supportsysteem van 2€, 5€, 10€, 15€ of 20€ (aan de deur betalen). De ingang is via een trap / Reservations can be made, but are not necessary. We are not subsidized, so we use a 'pay what you can' support system of €2, €5, €10, €15, or €20 (to be paid at the door). Entrance is via a staircase.
