De Art Space is een in-house tentoonstellingsruimte. Gedurende de verschillende werksessies staat deze in functie van het artistieke proces van residenten en jonge kunstenaars.

De artistieke ervaringen vinden plaats in deze ruimte. Deze wordt ingezet voor de beleving van performances, lezingen en studio visits maar ook om eigen werk te exposeren.

Alle ervaringen die we binnenbrengen zijn zorgvuldig uitgekozen in functie van een artistiek proces. We nodigen jonge makers uit om een actuele connectie te maken met de reële professionele kunst context.

Een afgewerkt eindproduct is geen direct streefdoel. Het exposeren is een manier om de ontwikkeling en het proces af te toetsen aan een nieuwe beeldtaal en externe feedback. De ruimte wordt in eerste plaats gebruikt door de residenten, maar kan soms aangevuld worden door artistieke injecties van jonge makers.

The Art Space is an in-house exhibition area. During the diverse work sessions, it caters to the artistic process of both residents and young artists.

Artistic experiences take place within this space. It is utilized for the experience of performances, lectures, studio visits, as well as to exhibit one’s own work.

All experiences we curate are carefully chosen in service of an artistic process. We invite young creators to establish an ongoing connection with the real professional art context.

An accomplished final product is not the immediate goal. Exhibiting serves as a way to measure the development and process against a new visual language and external feedback. The space is primarily reserved for residents, but can sometimes be enriched by artistic contributions from young makers.
